This absolutely gorgeous 9ct gold ring in the traditional 'London Bridge' setting truly is a sight to behold. It features three rich oval almandine garnets with the centre garnet surrounded with four brilliant cut round diamonds. All beautifully set in an exquisitely detailed and engraved setting with detail down the shoulders. The piercing in the gallery allows light in and shows the stones off beautifully.

This vintage ring features a clear set of hallmarks dates it to 1970 and assayed in London.

A very classic design but still so wearable today, it is definitely a worthy addition to any collection.

ITEM DETAILS

ERA: Vintage (1970)

MEASUREMENTS: Almandine Garnets: Central stone is 7mm x 5mm and the two side stones are 4.5mm x 3.5mm.
Brilliant Cut Diamonds: Four in total measuring 1.5mm each.

WEIGHT: 4.89g

HALLMARKS: '9' and '.375' for 9ct Gold; 'lion head symbol' for London and stylised 'p' dated to 1970. On the opposite side of the shank is a maker's mark 'T&R'

RING SIZE (IF APPLICABLE): M 1/2 with limited resizing ability

CONDITION

Excellent - The garnets have very good clarity. The centre stone has a few nibbles visible under a jewellers loupe but not to the unaided eye. The side stones are in very good condition. All diamond accents are well matched and bright. The condition of the ring itself is excellent with only slight marks to the inside of the shank in keeping with the age. All stones are secure in their settings and there is no sign of resizing or repair.
