This stunning pendant features a a piece of natural amethyst carved into the shape of a heart then polished. It is finished off with a textured Sterling Silver mount and a 40cm Sterling Silver chain.

The amethyst itself is beautiful showing shades of from light all the way to deep purple. It has a mix of solid, translucent and transparent elements so at some angles, you can see inside the stone itself, which adds a lovely depth to the pendant. I also like that the mount is a textured finish rather than a high polished finish as it gives a vintage feel.

MEASUREMENTS: The pendant measures 23.87mm in width, the height of the heart itself is 21.7mm with a depth of 13.7mm.
The mount has a diameter of 7.71mm and the maximum height is 15mm. The total height of the stone and mount is 34.4mm
The mount has a slightly oval soldered jump ring on it measuring 9.28mm in height, 9.8mm in width and 0.84 in thickness.
The chain is a singapore link style and measures 40cm in length with a width of approximately 2.16mm

WEIGHT: 12.97g in total. The pendant weighs 10.48g and the chain weighs 2.49g

HALLMARKS: No hallmarks present on pendant mount, tests as Sterling Silver 925. Chain tag: '925' for Sterling Silver, 'Italy' for origin

CONDITION

Very Good - The amethyst itself has no visible fractures and only a few minor surface chips in keeping with its age. The mount is in very good condition with the texturing still nicely visible. The chain is in excellent condition with no signs of broken or damaged links or repairs.
