This lovely solid 9ct Yellow Gold pendant / charm of the revolutionary Concorde brings a burst of nostalgia with it. With engraved detail on the fuselage, wings and tail - it is instantly recognisable as the aircraft that made it possible to fly from London to New York in 3 hours.

It features a small jump ring under the nose to allow for a fine chain, as a charm on a charm bracelet or it could even be used with a pin to attach it to clothing. A truly wonderful gift for fans of the Concorde and lovers of aviation alike.

ITEM DETAILS

ERA: Vintage - Circa 1970 - 1980

MEASUREMENTS: The plane measures 26.4mm from nose to tail, 12mm across the wings, 4.35mm from the underside to the top of the rudder (not including the jump ring). The width of the fuselage is 2.8mm.
The jump ring measures 4.8mm high including the nose, 3.3mm across and 1.1mm in thickness. The internal diameter is approximately 1.4mm.

HALLMARKS: 'V & FP' Makers Mark; '👑' & '375' for 9ct Gold; '⚓︎' for Birmingham; Date mark is indistinct however estimated between 1978 and 1989

CONDITION

Good - There is a little bit of wear near the jump ring indicating it was possible previously used as a pendant or charm. There are some minor marks and light scratches on the piece but these are consistent with age.
