Adding some excitement and a little twist to a traditional garnet cluster pendant is this lovely piece. At its centre and sitting proudly is a beautiful freshwater pearl with a light grey hue and soft reflection. Sitting below this is a cluster of six natural round garnets, which have a reddish brown hue, an almandine type colour. Framing this is a bright cut 9ct Yellow Gold border, adding a bit more interest.

What I love is the work and craftsmanship that has gone into this. The pearl and garnet setting is seperate, so the outside 'frame' has been bright cut by hand and the setting would have been set by hand. These two pieces have then been brought together and hand attached, then finished. This level of work and detail is completely missing from mass produced pieces and it is such a treat to see here. A truly beautiful pendant that is a wonderful addition to any jewellery collection.
