The pendant part has been crafted from a single piece of Sterling Silver that has been shaped into an oval form with the ends tucked under to create a three dimensional effect. This has been attached to two curved solid pieces of Sterling Silver to form a sculpted necklace.

Birks was established in 1879 in Montreal, Canada and was one of the most influential silverware makers during the 20th century. Their quality and craftsmanship meant they are often referred to as the 'Tiffany's of Canada' with their jewellery often selling for thousands of dollars at auction.
